Tribble & Stephens was founded in 1968 as a partnership between James Stephens and Jay Tribble who shared a vision that a general building contractor could operate successfully by negotiating construction services. Representatives of the Owner, Architect, and Contractor would compose a "partnership" who would work together to produce an optimal project considering the priorities of design, budget, quality, schedule and safety. This delivery system and partnership attitude has prevailed throughout our history as the cornerstone of our success.
Today, Tribble & Stephens is owned and operated by Van Martin, who purchased the company in 2008. Van has taken the company to new heights, while maintaining the original vision of the founding partners.
